Pete - the Service Puppy

Hi, I'm Pete.  My mom Peggy calls me a "knucklehead" - whatever that means.  It makes me smile when she says it.  I'm a service puppy in training - at least that's what they tell me.  I belong to Pawsitive Action Foundation and Peggy and her friend, Ellen Hall are "raising" me.  They are supposed to get me used to all kinds of things so that when I'm ready to go to advanced training and ultimately be placed in my permanent home, I'll know how to do all things of things.

Right now, mostly I go to Peggy's office every day and greet all the nice people that visit there.  I love everyone - especially when they pet me.  I like to roll on my back and see if I can get a tummy rub.

I enjoy the holidays, especially Christmas.  This year I decided to dress up like Santa Claus.  Cute huh?
Peggy and Ellen forgot to celebrate my birthday - it's in November and they didn't even know I had it.  I had just gone to live with them and I forgot to let them know.  So anyway, we had a double celebration - Peggy and me!  We had cupcakes, presents and lots of people came and paid a lot of attention to me.  It was lots of fun.
Not too long ago, a professional photographer, Philip Craiger, came out to Peggy's to take my picture.  He did a really good job.  He made me look really handsome, which of course I am!
